My decisions for wanting to attend school and broaden my horizon in the design field came from wanting a better and brighter future for my daughter and me. Being a single parent with a daughter that has disabilities has its rougher moments. Mostly to secure our future something more than just surviving. The ability to remain independent and at the same time use my talents and creativity. After taking a commercial arts class I found art to be interesting and that I had more talent than I gave myself credit for. It as well follows my goals for a productive active life that I can use the gift God gave me and be creative. I discovered that along the way as I traveled life's road.

My creativity came by accident before I grew into a new and better skin and learned to overcome the past and love the person I am even with my defects and flaws. With it came my self esteem and the awe I saw as my creative juices provoked with each new creative idea. At first it was like I did that then I realized how gifted I was and how deeply I enjoyed and many aspects just being me, creative. With this knowledge I found I could build my hopes and dreams as well and use all this to be a success in so many aspects to include a business sense. I have always wanted to be and independent and have a successful business of my own. Now with the good old presidents helpful grant money I can do it all.

So in essence I am building a brighter future, fulfilling my goals and dreams and using my God given talent that which I love using, my creativity. There is nothing like enjoying what you do and being able to fit the remainder of all life's things in one big happy place. My daughter from that will learn and see all things are possible with a little belief, perseverance and hard work. Life is choices at any time you can change them, adjust them or modify them. I am okay and being all I can be.
